Christopher Bartle is Managing Director of the YRC 

Christopher was from 2001-2016 National and Olympic Coach to the
German Olympic Three Day Event Team -
Winners of Team Silver and Individual Gold at the 2016 Olympic Games
in Rio de Janeiro,
Team and Individual Gold medals at the London Olympics in 2012 and also previously at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.  

Christopher is currently the British Eventing Team'sCoach since 2017.
The GB Team were winners of the Team and Individual Gold medals at the World Equestrian Games in 2018. 
TeamGB won the Team Gold Medal and Individual Silver Medal at the
Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. They also won the Team and all Individual Medals at the European Championships at Avenches (Switzerland) in 2021.
YRC's superstar, Yasmin Ingham, won the Individual World Championships in 2022
TeamGB won the Individual and Team  Gold medals at the European Championships in 2023
Team GB won Team Gold & Individual Bronxe at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.


​Christopher does not exclusively teach higher level competition riders, he is also willing to teach less experienced riders on their own horses.

Awarded Hon. Fellowship of the British Horse Society in 2001
Received the British Horse Society's Trainers Award in 1995

Christopher has competed internationally in both Dressage and Eventing.

• Member of the British Dressage Team from 1981 to 1987.
• 6th Individual in Los Angeles Olympics with WILY TROUT
• National Dressage Champion in 1984 and 1985
• 4th in the European Championships in 1985
• 2nd in the Nashua Dressage World Cup in 1986
• Awarded the British Equestrian Federation's Medal of Honour 1986

• Scottish Open Champion in 1997 (Word Perfect)
• Member of the Gold Medal winning British Team in the European Championships in 1997
• Winner Badminton Horse Trials 1998 (Word Perfect)
• Reserve for Olympic Team 2000 (Word Perfect)​
