Alison Bartle (Pocklington) BHSI SM

Alison trains a wide range of clients for eventing, show jumping, dressage and hunting. She has a particular interest in the development of young horses and confidence of the rider.

Alison came to the Yorkshire Riding Centre in 1987. She has competed in eventing up to advanced level.


She has produced many young horses for competition and for sale. She has ridden successfully in point to points and assists in producing youngsters for point to point and National Hunt Racing and enjoys hunting regularly.
Alison has groomed for many years at International level and has written a book “The Essential Guide to Professional Horse Care”. She has prepared pupils for BHS exams up to Stable Manager level.

She is actively involved in our local Pony Club helping develop riders of all ages and support training here at YRC.
