A TAILOR-MADE
TRAINING PLAN FOR YOU
If you don't find a programme in our information to suit you,
let us know and we can put together a training course to meet your individual
requirements. The programme can be as intensive as you like or can be arranged
to provide time in the afternoons to relax, watch others riding or perhaps go
sightseeing.
DURATION:
You can come for a day, a short stay mid-week or for a week or more.
ACCOMMODATION: We have a lovely Guest House on site
which was formerlythe Bartle's family home or we can offer basic but comfortable
accommodation in the student's Chalets. (Click here
for more information).
THE HORSES:
You can come with your own horse or take some or all of your lessons on our horses.
We keep a range of different types and standards of horse. For the novice rider
we have horses, which are quiet and sensible. If you are a more competent rider,
we have horses, which are suitable for learning dressage or jumping to a higher
level.
COMBINE TRAINING WITH A HOLIDAY: The Centre holds a
wide range of events throughout the year from competitions to demonstrations and
clinics given by top trainers and riders and there's always something happening
in the vicinity! So why not combine a course with one of these events. To give
you some ideas, here are some examples of events close by:
- BRAMHAM INTERNATIONAL 3-DAY EVENT, near Harrogate -
June
- THE GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW, Harrogate - July
- THE NORTHERN REGIONAL DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS - August
, Bradford
RELAX AND ENJOY YOURSELVES IN YORKSHIRE: Horses are
a large part of your stay with us, but don't have to take up all of the time.
Nearby are the historic towns of York and Ripon providing plenty of opportunities
for sightseeing and shopping. Harrogate also offers excellent shops, the Yorkshire
Dales are on our doorstep and the famous National Trust property, Fountains Abbey
is just around the corner. Other activities such as golf and swimming are also
available locally. Please see our links pages for webpages detailing local places
of interest.
