Unaffiliated Dressage Shows.

Entry Fee: £10: Rosettes 1-7: Prizes in kind

Entries close on the Tuesday prior to the show and will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Late entries may be accepted after this date but only by post and subject to a late entry fee of £2. Open to horse/rider combinations that have no more than 25 BD points and Riders must be group 6 or below. All unaffiliated classes are run under British Dressage rules.Withdrawals accepted until the Thursday prior to the competition. Any withdrawals after this will be non- refundable. Entries may not be transferred to other dates.

Dressage tests used will be the current versions in use by British Dressage.

Andy Tate will be at both Affiliated and Unaffiliated shows videoing Dressage tests.

SHG Photographic (www.shgphotographic.co.uk) will be present at all Show Jumping shows.

Unaffiliated Show Jumping - 2007/8

Clear Round --- Start 10.30am Open to Horses and Ponies. Max height 60cm incl. Fillers.... . . . £6 per individual round. £10 for 2 consecutive rounds. Entries strictly limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. The last entry will be taken at 11.15am without exceptions.
Class 1 - Starts 12.00

Horse & Pony Starter : 60cm incl. Fillers. 2 Phase Competition Entry Fee £8: Rosettes 1st - 7th - Prizes in Kind

Class 2 Horse & Pony Novice: 70 cm incl. Fillers. 2 Phase Competition Entry Fee £8: Rosettes 1st - 7th - Prizes in Kind
Class 3 Horse & Pony Intermediate: - 80cm :- 2 Phase Competition Entry Fee £8: Rosettes 1st - 7th - Prizes in Kind

Class 4

Horse & Pony Open Class : 90 cm.: 2 Phase Competition --- Entry Fee £8: Rosettes 1st - 7th - Prizes in Kind

October 21st - November 18th - December 16th (The Xmas Show will include the £100 Chase Me Charlie between Classes 2 & 3)

January 13th - February 10th - March 16th 2008

Horses and Ponies will compete over the same course however there will be separate prizes in kind for horses and ponies

Conditions Applying to all Events/Shows:

1 No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to competitors, their horses, property or helpers in connection with or arising from this show. It will be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agree to indemnify the Yorkshire Riding Centre against any legal action arising therefrom
2 The decision of the judges is final. Any objection should be made to the secretary together with a deposit of £50 to be forfeited if the objection is not upheld
3 The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry or amend the schedule if the instances of the programme require
4 Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted. We strongly recommend the wearing of protective helmet manufactured to the latest British Standard or such other suitable headgear as offers a similar or higher level of protection and is at least that of British Standard EN1384. For affiliated competitions please refer to the relevant organisation rules.
5 No entry will be accepted without the correct entry fee.
6 Dressage entries will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Entry fees for withdrawals will not be refunded unless the resulting space can be filled.
7 Prize money and rosettes are as stated in the schedule but in the event of small entries will be given in the ratio of one prize per five starters. The shows will be run under the guidelines of the BSJA, British Dressage rules

 

Health and Safety.
The organisers of this show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For those measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.

Directions:
Yorkshire Riding Centre is situated 2 miles west of the A61, 7 miles north of Harrogate, 5 miles from Ripon. The centre is signposted from the A61 at Wormald Green.
