VOCATIONAL
and COMPETITION TRAINING is
tailored to meet your exact requirements and your budget.
This could include additional training in riding or stable
management or competition training and preparation. Training
options vary in intensity and therefore costs range between
no fees payable for a low intensity full working option
becoming more expensive the more formal training is required.
WORKING
STUDENT OPTION:
Students wishing to be Working Students are required to be
resident at the Centre. The work/practical training consists
of caring for the horses in and around the stables and general
yard work. Exercising, Schooling and Teaching practice may
also form part of your training. You will also assist with
other activities such as shows, demonstrations, exams etc.
Those applying to do the Working Pupil options need to show
evidence of previous experience looking after horses, and
need to be physically capable of doing the work. For those
from outside the European Union (EU), a student Visa will
be required and the amount of work permitted is limited on
such visas.
OWN
HORSE:
Students may bring their own horses with them on the course
and are encouraged to participate in the shows that take place
at the Centre.
